We meet every day at 6:30am (Singapore time) (GMT+8:00). Depending on your role, that meeting is required to be in person, but some attend via appear.in. This is our daily standup meeting where department heads and the whole engineering team report on yesterday's completed tasks, today's upcoming tasks and any roadblocks. All team members are welcome to attend, but only department heads and the engineering team provide an update.
Travel and adventure are in our DNA. Getting ridiculous is a core value. We work beside our clients two months a year, and in the Fall and Spring the entire company travels to one of our markets to live, imagine and create ridiculous success for our clients.
Want to work with us? Read the following books as they will help you understand how we think, why we do what we do and the focus of the company.
PayrollHero strives to be a holacracy. We work with the stewards approach to management, meaning each department has a steward that represents the needs of their department. We make data-based decisions, follow our core values and strive to always be learning. Within the stewards, we have a book club where we read a new book every two weeks and then circle back to discuss each of our takeaways from the book. Follow our group on Goodreads to see what we are learning.
We embrace technology that assists us in our open communication mandate. We strive to leave artifacts behind for the greater good of the company. We love Google Drive, Slack, PipelineDeals, Linkedin, Asana, and EventBrite.
For Engineering specific roles, specific tools are listed within each description.
